C-weighted correction for different frequencies

EQ guys are using on their cabs/systems. A good starting place if you don't have your own RTA.

C-weighted correction for different frequencies

#1 Post by MissileCrisis »

I've seen the curve numerous times but am curious as to what the actual values are at given test points such that I can compensate the values I read on my SPL meter. From the C-curve it appears that 50 is -2.5 and 25 ~ -5 dB but this is purely visual. If anyone knows a formula or website that calculates the dB from flat for a given frequency that would be great.

MC,
Try this:
http://www.sengpielaudio.com/calculator-dba-spl.htm

About half way down the page is a link to the formulas
