New from Wisconsin

#1 Post by Brewcrew82 »

Hello all,

Just introducing myself.

My wife is a saint...I have a 2-channel audio system in the living room, a vintage (kind of) set up in a spare room and a budget home theater system in the basement.

The next step I am heading towards is adding a subwoofer to that basement HT system. So that's why I'm here :D

My skill level is modest. Haven't done much woodwork, but I've done things like install ceiling speakers into a drop ceiling, install a projector and screen, etc...

I'm planning to get my read on, and then maybe have a few questions.

Thanks in advance for any advice and feedback.

Paul

Not too far!
Well I've built 4 dr200s, 4 T24s and an auto tuba. If you would like a listen some time, or any help, I'd be glad to.

This forum is really great. A ton of info here, feel free to ask away.

Wow, thank you for the welcome!

The long-style tuba table really intrigues me. Standing it up in the corner like a pillar, but not sure if that would be enough for my room. I'm planning to pose that question with pictures and dimensions of my place when I get time.
