Isn't the internet and it's possibilities fascinating. That's pretty much how I stumbled into creating speakerhardware.

Leland. In your facebook photos I noticed a small aluminum track mounted on the back corner of a sub. It is approximately 3" x 3" with a small locking thumb clip. I am guessing that it is for a caster that slides on. I can't find anything like that online anywhere.

Is it for a caster and if so, where do they come from? I want to have removable wheels.

For the T48's I had planned on using 3" Stem Caster - Blue/Gray Polyurethane(8@$7.86each) and Metal Socket - Grip Ring Stem for Wood - 4 Screw(32) on the four corners of the backs and bottoms.
http://www.castercity.com/eshop/10Expan ... 3-stem.htm

Also planned is Rubber Cabinet Foot 2.5" Dia. x 1" H (32) 4 on all of the bottoms and 4 on right side of a pair and 4 on the left side of the other pair

For the wheels I have in my list I am only doing two sets of four so two cabs can moved at once and the casters can be removed and thrown on the other two to move them. Being able to have 2 removable casters at the bottom backs of each cab would be better. I won't be cutting any handholds but will use 8 Right Angle Cab Handle Large Radius at the top rear corners.

One more thing I keep intending to add to the site

Pretty sure I used the w0090
You have to use penns casters. I had some shepherds on hand that looked identical, but would not work. Just a smidge of difference and they wouldn't lock in.

Send me an email and I'll get you prices. Questions@webmaster.com

I have been going a little wild in gathering parts for my build. I decided to order as much as possible through my local independent music store. I worked there on an off for 12 years and I still have my master key to the place even though I haven't worked there for about 10 years. He has been in business for 42 years and is one of the few that survived Guitar Center/Musicians Friend. I pay a little more for some things but others I get below MAP. I also get service with the sale so I never have to worry about any problems with the equipment. I am paying him to handle that.

What I have so far:
4- LAB 15
4- Kappalite 3012HO
8 - NSD 2005
3- Proel HPD3000 4 channel amps
miscellaneous cabinet hardware

Today I ordered:
2 - SKB 6U Mighty GigRig Expander Case
1 - Rotomolded GigSafe
1 - SKB Rotomolded GigDolly
1 - SKB A/V Shelf for Mighty GigRig
1 - SKB Roto-X Square Shipping Case

The GigRig parts were about $1,000.00, the 24" x 24" x 24" trap case was $550.00 (just to hold my speaker cables LOL) I know that sounds insane but it is a really nice case. I will probably get a second one to hold a 100' 16/4 snake that I will never use to hook to an Allen Heath MIXWIZARD WZ4 16:2 that I will also never use. http://www.skbcases.com/music/products/ ... =154&s=152

I also ordered the majority of the cabinet hardware, all of the STX Neutrik Speakon connectors(I am making all of my own speaker cables), DBX 260 and all of the crossover components.

The Neutrik jack plates had to be ordered from the UK as I wanted the small double punched G series for the STX panel mount speakons. The panel mount STX speakons are metal, come with rubber gasket, use four mounting screws and are waterproof. I wanted something different and heavy duty.

I am building four 24" T48 and four DR300.

I will be buying four sets of Metaltech scaffolding to use as speaker stands. In the basement two subs on a scaffold times two plus two DR300 on scaffold times two. You can also get different sized outriggers for this scaffold. The basement has flooded in the past so the subs will sit 27" up off of the floor on the scaffold. http://www.lowes.com/ProductDisplay?par ... &cId=PDIO1

I still have a lot of miscellaneous hardware to figure out and then I start buying tools. Once I have everything I will get the wood. I want to build a couple of 48" x 96" tables in the garage. One with an open framed top and the other topped with 3/4" cdx built to the height of the table saw.

I threw my budget out the window and no longer care about it. This is all just for fun. My little bitty home stereo build. I am adding in a Pioneer XDJ-RX Controller that I will use for personal use. http://www.pioneerdj.com/en/product/all ... k/overview and a road case for it. SKB doesn't make one for this unit yet or else I would be going with them. http://www.odysseygear.com/odyssey-prod ... -case.html

It will be a nice little system that goes nowhere built just for the hell of it. My answer as to why I do really crazy things like this has always been the same. I do it because I can.
