Boxing tape trick

#1 Post by halftank »

Here is a great tip for you newbie wood builders, a simple method I have use for many years is the CLEAR BOX TAPE. it works the same as the wax paper but affords you the sticky side to attach to your backing/support boards. You can even use it to make line mould for doing fibre glass layups. Happy building

Boxing tape...from the title I was envisioning the sort to thing that Rocky Balboa would have wrapped around his hands before entering the ring.
4 x T39 - 20" - 3012LF (Built 2)
4 x OT12 - 2512 - Melded/D220Ti
1 x TAT - GTO804

Nice. I stay away from it because of cabinet building. The glue can leave a residue that can have some odd ugliness when going with stain. But for this, it does seem to make sense.
