Hi maxo I think the USA bofs will have to answer that one.

I'm sure there should be a QSC / Crown equivalent with the same or better specs in the USA.

They are so over priced here in South Africa that QSC or Crown are not worth it.

Awesome setup. Wonder how good this would sound playing recorded music, like a DJ setup, playing hip hop, reggae, etc?

My question to you though, what's that device controlling the electricity on top of the amp rack? Looks interesting.

It is a 3 phase power distribution panel
with thermal breakers and volts plus ampere digital readings
that way you know at a glance how many juice your amps are sucking

same guys that made the amps

Hey Pulse
the thing is that in the USA i havent see a crown or qsc or peavey or behringer that in a single rack space
cram this much power

Hi guys
Sorry for late reply, crazy time of the year.

I have used this combination with most of the styles you've mentioned and no issues at all. Bit of tweaking on the desk if needed and you good to go.

Possibility of importing these synq's to USA?

Those looks good. Thing is the power I have in jamaica, or have most access to is single phase 220 and 110. I'm gonna look around if I find any of those.

Thanks man, awesome rig.

I've been impressed by this review of the synq amps. FWIW, the offerings available to me in the UK, at the 300w/8ohm mark are:

Crown XLS 1500. £340. 2U
QSC GX3. £250. 2U
Matrix XT800. £400. 1U
Synq dig01k. £260. 1U. 3.5kg

I had matrix recommemded for quality but at another £140, I'm not sure its worth it.
2xJ12L (3012HO) switchable/melded
2xT30

Words&graphics - Audio&Acoustics - Hardware&DSP; 3 different paradigms.

Don't know these other amps and can't comment on them unfortunately.

I have used these amps extensively this past year with big crowds and most of the the time at "War volume" due to the sizes of the crowds that attended most of the shows and these babies were rock solid so far. The big brother 3K6, I've had for over three years already running the subs before I built the OT12's and still good.

I will buy more of these synq's without any doubt when the need arises again.

I like the foam too - makes them look like 'HK Audio' stuff.
I looked at the plans for the OTop and MUCH easier than DRs!

Do you have any plans for more subs to match all those tops or do you not need enough total volume (or you play music with less bass) to care about transporting all the extra kit?

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere. What speakers are you using in OTops and subs?
Deltalite 2512, 3012HO?
Kappalite 3015LF, 18Sound 15NLW9300, Peavey Low Rider?
Did you only look at the pretty pictures or do you also read all those words people use to fill up the rest of the page?

Each of his posts has a signature saying the tops are Delta Pro 12 loaded, the subs with 3015lf.
Life is just a game, don't take it to seriously!

Where's offering the Synq for 260 quid? I might give one a go.

Terralec; they're the (seemingly sole) UK distributor for Synq, from when I looked at the Synq website a few months back. Might be worth a bit more digging see if there's anyone else. Good luck.

I've had a look and it seems like Terralec are the only place that currently stocks them. I'll have another look when I'll be grabbing one. Thanks.

Comes pretty close to the flux capacitor (1.21 jigawatts of electrical power) that supposedly drives Leland's workshop 8)
