I know the tuba 60 plan specifically calls for 'about' three 4x8 sheets of Baltic Birch so I was just wondering if the tuba 30 plans have similar language. Like said before, the board/council needs to approve a budget before I can spend their money. Aka I can't buy the plans until I know how much to budget for wood.
Because of the ability to build in different widths, it impossible to tell you how much you'll need without running all the dimensions through Cutlist to come up with a total. But, based on earlier posts, I'd say to shoot high and figure 10 or even 12 sheets.....hell, put 12 in the budget....if you end up needing less, you'll look like a hero. List your location in your profile and maybe others can send you to the right place to buy your BB plywood. Some places in the country it's $50 a sheet....where I live it's $27 or less.
